“Simply Ardynn’s Labor Day Picnic” Menu and Event Schedule

Coming December 1, 2018

Couple Eating An Al Fresco Meal

Labor Day is a holiday for relaxing with friends and family as we celebrate the end of Summer.  BBQ’s and picnics mark this quintessential break from work.  In times gone by, Labor Day signified the end of the harvest season and all of the hard work that went into the past years crops.

In today’s hyper-competitive work place, we find it harder and harder to find time to spend time with friends and family.  I know that for me, this past summer has proven that point time and time again.  I literally schedule time on my calendar for Danny and the kids, so I don’t get caught up in everything else going on.  For me, like most entreprenuers, running a business has a way of sucking up all the hours in the day if one is not careful.

I want to help simplify the process of planning your next Labor Day Picnic and guarantee that each dish will satisfy and delight everyone that you invite.

Each of these recipes are easily tailored to meet your quest count needs and I suggest that you make all of the dishes, so that your guests have a couple of choices.  I have also made sure to choose dishes that compliment each other and aren’t too messy, for the little ones in attendance.

For those that need to bulk up their pantry before hand, you will see an all inclusive shopping list to make things easier.

When preparing for the day of the big event, I recommend that you follow the schedule and steps, in order, because some dishes can be prepped a few days in advance. I have even added time slots for shopping, decorating, invite mail out and house cleaning/ yard cleanup.
